Robotics, AI and Python

As part of my robotics journey, I built an animatronic hand to explore how robotics can imitate human movement. The project uses flex sensors and three servo motors to detect and reproduce finger movements.

The flex sensors sense how the fingers bend. This movement is processed using Python, which then controls the servo motors to move the robotic hand accordingly. Building the project helped me understand how programming, sensors, electronics, and mechanical components work together to create a functional robotic system.

This project was especially interesting to me because I could control the robotic hand using my own finger movements. It also gave me an opportunity to apply my programming and problem-solving skills to a real-world robotics application.

Through this project, I strengthened my understanding of Python programming, electronics, sensors, servo motors, and mechanical design. It also increased my interest in exploring AI and robotics and building more advanced projects in the future.

I have also developed a strong interest in robotics, gaining hands-on experience with Arduino, where I code and build functional projects. Some of the more advanced projects I have worked on include a line-following robot, object-avoiding and object-following robots, a keyboard-controlled robot, a fire-fighting robot, a home-cleaning robot, and a security and attendance system using Bluetooth and voice control.This year, I plan to work on advanced robotics projects such as animatronic hands, a hexapod robot, a robotic arm, and biped walking robots, further strengthening my skills in mechanical design, electronics, and programming.
